The end of the year is approaching. The moment to look back on what we have achieved and how we have grown as a company. The management of the Anton Group looks back with great satisfaction on the year 2018. A very eventful year in which we have taken over various companies and where the integration of these companies in the Anton Group was our major target.
We also achieved a record again this year in the realization of both small regional and high-profile projects. And we were also present in Europe. For example, Anton Air Support has installed several Passenger Boarding Bridges in Norway and they are currently upgrading two outdated Passenger Boarding Bridges in Leads. Anton Industrial Services has built various concrete towers for wind farms in Germany this year and Anton Construction Work has started a large maintenance contract on Tata Steel this year. We have also won dozens of tenders, which allowed us to execute great projects for ProRail and Tata Steel, among others. As a company, we have doubled in manpower to more than 200 specialists and we are very proud of that.
The year 2019 is dedicated to guaranteeing the continuity of the Anton Group as a whole. Various small and large projects for next year have already been planned. We will, of course, keep you informed on our progress via our websites and via LinkedIn. On behalf of the Anton Group, we thank all clients, suppliers and relations for the realization of this great year. We wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! We are less accessible between Monday, December 24 and Friday, January 4, 2019, but from Monday, January 7, 2019, we are all ready for you again.
