Anton Rail & Infra is the main contractor of the Restoration and Repair project Cuypersgebouw Central Station Amsterdam.
This beautiful project concerns the monumental Cuypershal and the East Wing of the station in Amsterdam. The project was carried out in two phases. During the first phase, the floor in the station hall was replaced, new front doors were made and the facade of the hall was restored. The inside has been renovated in the Oostvleugel. Renovation work on the natural stone has also been carried out and the grid ceilings, lighting and technical installations (broadcaster, fire notification, cameras) have been replaced.
The second phase consisted of the return of the carriage hoods and the awning on the center side of the station. Monumental chandeliers have been hung that illuminate the hall and the beautifully ornamental ceilings, refined masonry and monumental columns have been renovated.
The hall and the Oostvleugel have remained accessible to travelers during the work. Where work was done, the place was closed with construction fences.
