On behalf of Van Geemen, Anton Construction and Concrete Technology, in collaboration with Spanberg, built the new quay walls and bridge abutment, from the foundation piles to the masonry work.
The work for Anton Anton Bouw Betontechniek involved driving piles, reinforcing, pouring the foundation, and casting the concrete walls in multiple phases.
The challenge of this project was the 5-ton weight limit across all of Marken. As a result, mini-mixers and a trailer pump were used for the concrete pouring. The mini-mixers were filled just outside the village, where a large mixer was stationed.
Ultimately, the client Van Geemen had completed the bridge.
