Anton Constructiewerken has delivered two structures serving as temporary cable bridges for the work around the Aanpak Ring Zuid in Groningen. This involves the client hanging cable packages under three steel cables.

The work includes the production and delivery of the structure and wire rope components as per the client’s chief structural engineer’s specification. In cooperation with the company Trans Welding, the assembly was meticulously planned, so that during a train-free period, they were able, together with Anton Constructiewerken, to carry out all the work on site in Groningen in two nights.

The work is part of building the foundation of the new section of the viaduct over the Europa Highway. The work includes driving in tubular piles and driving in sheet piles (partly at night) and transporting building materials and equipment (at night).
