Anton Constructiewerken engineered, manufactured and mounted temporary braking works on the Afsluitdijk.
The braking works are suspended on a temporary sheet pile wall. These sheet piling have been placed at this location to protect a quay wall behind which work will take place.
One of the basic principles of the design is that the braking works are easy to assemble and disassemble, and that the height of the braking works can be adjusted afterwards.
