Recently Harder Construction & Consultancy has purchased a 3D scanner in addition to the Total Station that they have been using for years. With the Total Station they can measure existing situations and lay out parts in the work (for example the anchors).
With the 3D scanner, they can now map existing situations even faster and more extensively and, if necessary, combine this with the measurement or layout points of the Total Station. Think of concrete or steel structures, halls, offices, homes, etc.
The raw scan data can be supplied. Based on this scan data, they model the existing situation and make this transparent by means of 3D models or drawings. They can also work out new (steel) parts in the existing situation up to production level.
We have listed all the advantages of the 3D scanner for you and you can read it here.
