Anton Air Support can take care of international transport of PBBs, by truck, low loader or ship and we also take care of all transport documents, customs declarations and terminal handling. Anton Air Support is also sought out and used as a specialist to help install new Passenger Boarding Bridges. Thanks to our experience with various PBBs, we can assist independent bridge suppliers in installing new bridges.
Installation en coördination
When installing new PBBs, as well as renovated PBBs, many facets come together at the same time. We carry out the installation with our own team of specialists, possibly supported from employees of the permanent maintenance company at the airport.
The assignment includes mechanical, electrical as well as testing and commissioning. Our teamwork is result-oriented.
Transport
We arrange the necessary documents from the relevant authorities for transport from outside the airport to the platform. Providing all access passes for the employees, license plates of the trucks, number of cranes required and much more. It can all be coordinated by Anton Air Support.

Inspection
An objective inspection report by Anton Air Support gives you a good understanding of the current status per item of the passenger boarding bridge in a clear overview. We check the safety, sustainability and quality of your PBBs to ensure save operations in future.

Testing
A Factory Acceptance Test (FAT), the final test before the PBB leaves the supplier’s factory, is a service that Anton Air Support can perform independently on behalf of the client, to ensure that the passenger boarding bridge is manufactured according to the technical specifications.
After the installation of the passenger boarding Bridge at the stand on the platform, Anton Air Support can perform an independent Site Acceptance Test (SAT) if requested by the client.
This final inspection test for the operational release of the PBB, gives the customer the necessary assurance that all aspects of the PBB have been checked and that the PBB can be safely put into service.
Training & instruction
Invest in training and instructions for your operators and your local technical team.
Our technical specialist train local operators for operating the PBB smoothly, but most importantly, safely. It’s necessary but also required by law that new personal on an operators job, need to be trained and instructed before they may operate the PBB. Even small accidents can cause an enormous impact on the aircraft handling procedures with big financial consequences.
PBB dashboard
How do you monitor the status of all your PBBs during daily operation? In one overview you can see the availability and status of the PBBs if the PBB is available, has a malfunction, need maintenance or is ready for operation or is in operation. Anton Air Support developed a PBB Dashboard program which can be monitored on a big screen in a control room.
The big advantage of this Dashboard is the real time information of the PBBs. The maintenance status per PBB can be monitored, including detailed information when the last maintenance was executed, what was executed and when the next maintenance must be planned.
All PBBs can be monitored, including the status of the GPU, PCA and VGDS if the information of these systems are available.
A maintenance app can be used by the technicians on site to fill in the tasks to be executed for the maintenance and the materials that has been used or must be purchased.
This Dashboard, combined with this maintenance app (or your existing data) contribute to a better understanding of the current status of your PBBs and a specific maintenance planning.
