650 tons of steel for the main structure of apartments in Amstelveen

At this moment ‘Up Mountain’ is being built in Amstelveen. Up Mountain consists of a six-story parking garage at Hudson’s Bay in the city center of Amstelveen. The sixth parking level is exclusively for the residents of Up Mountain. In addition, around 45 exclusive new-built apartments will be spread over the seventh to twelfth floors.

Anton Staalbouw previously supplied and assembled the steel for the Hudson’s Bay department store and the parking garage. Right now, Anton Staalbouw is also been asked to supply and assemble the steel for the entire main supporting structure of the new apartment complex being built on top of the parking garage. This concerns around 650 tons of steel.

In week 50 a start will be made with the assembly of the main support structure on site. Wednesday December 19 the 1st connecting piece will be mounted on location.
