Commissioned by BAM Infrarail, Anton Construction has replaced pin plates on the bridge over the Gouwe in Alphen aan den Rijn during a nine-day decommissioning. The pins and heights of the rails were in such a bad condition that all elements between the steel deck and the rails had to be completely redone.
The Anton Group had the lead on this project and organized the fabrication of the steel pin boards, project management, coordination during installation, site establishment, procurement of railway equipment and the hiring of subcontractors. The project has been carried out in five days, in accordance to requirements of ProRail.
