Accessibility Johannes Bosco College in Heerhugowaard

On behalf of Anton Bouw & Betontechniek, Anton Civiel & Infra was happy to participate in the assignment of the municipality of Dijk en Waard. The assignment concerned the realization of a new bicycle and pedestrian bridge at the Johannes Bosco Trinitas College in Heerhugowaard. Anton Bouw & Betontechniek was responsible for this realization.

In addition, the assignment was to install a new footpath of approximately 700 m1 along the Westtangent. The choice was made for a footpath made of the so-called semi-hardening. After the application of semi-paved surfaces, a solid unpaved road is created with the appearance of a traditional sand road. The aim of the work was to improve accessibility to the Johannes Bosco College school in Heerhugowaard.

Activities

Anton Civiel & Infra has started replacing the wooden sheeting at the site of the new bridge to be built. New plastic sheeting has been installed in its place.

The site of the new footpath to be built first had to be cleaned up. The contaminated soil was removed, after which it was possible to start excavating and profiling the berm. A cunet has been dug, which has been filled with a layer of mixed granulate. This served as a good basis for the application of Graustabil® semi-hardening. Finally, to make everything look good again, the verge was sown with grass seed.

The project was completed to the full satisfaction of the municipality of Dijk en Waard and was once again the result of a pleasant collaboration within the Anton Group.
