Anton Bouw & Betontechniek has carried out support activities with the installation of a continuous casting machine. A large regional company in the steel sector wanted to expand its business process with an additional continuous casting machine. Installing this is a very large and complex mechanical engineering project. This was done by an Austrian contractor. Anton Bouw & Betontechniek was responsible for all remaining civil engineering and grouting work.
We have made around 1500 m2 of steel-plate concrete floors at a height of 19 meters and concrete walls to secure the control room. In addition, we have made 16 floors of 1.5 by 2 meters and prefab floors of around 50 tonnes. In this project we processed around 100 tonnes of casting mortar.
