Because we have our own 3D drawing department, called Staalis, we can always switch quickly and proceed. This department models complete reinforcement models in 3D. We convert the final design (DO) into an implementation design (UO). We do this by modeling the complete reinforcement in 3D models of the concrete structure. We use Allplan for this. From our 3D models we generate digital bending sheets that control Spanberg’s machinery. This direct, digital delivery shortens the entire turnaround time and minimizes errors due to transfer.
In addition to 3D modeling and digital control of the machinery, Staalis also supplies the working drawings for the implementation. Accurate conversion of the 3D models into 2D working drawings is central to this. For complex bottlenecks, 2D drawings are substantiated with 3D impressions.
