Commissioned by ProRail, Anton Rail & Infra has created a wall painting on a relay house in Watergraafsmeer.
The design consists of two new trains and two old trains. Previously, the masonry was repaired and ribbon joints and expansion joints (applied to absorb the shrinkage and stretch between two different materials) were installed. The wall painting on the relay house located at Watergraafsmeer is a real asset to the Dutch landscape.
A true work of art
The walls were then painted white and the sketch was plotted with rough lines. Ultimately, the entire design was worked out in color. The artwork can be admired from the passing trains.
