In the North East region there are five train stations known as: Martenshoek, Nieuw Amsterdam, Stroe, Rijsen and Zuidhorn. Anton Rail & Infrastructure performed work on and near these train station platforms for client ProRail. The photo’s show the work on train station Rijssen. During this project it was required to schedule a T.F.P (Train Free Periode) of 52 hours twice. At location Rijssen the work contains the following:
– Replacement of retaining walls of the island platform in the framework of project P76.
– Laying track along the platform in the framework of project P76.
The challenge in this project was accessibility, working in heavy contaminated soil and the big arch in the island train platform. All work was carried out to the satisfaction of the contractor and client.
