In the summer of 2015 Anton Rail & Infrastructure has carried out some work on train station New Amsterdam to make the train station more accessible for the disabled. The project included concrete edges to create a barrier-free entry (see photo). At the train station New Amsterdam platform repaving was done. The access path to enter the platform had too much of a slope causing trouble for the disabled.
