In the Northeast region Anton Rail & Infrastructure made a substantial contribution to the improvement of private railway crossings on the track. This project is meant to build connections and passages from private land to city property on a plot to plot basis. These railway crossings are intended for local traffic only. The project involved the standardization of 71 railway crossings as the client ProRail wanted to give the security a positive boost. The unobtrusive appearance also had to ensure that other traffic would be kept away.
The activities included, the placement of gates, (re)installation of electric fences, removal of warning signs and installing of new signs. The project required a detailed but clear plan to make the process efficient and the project run well. Short communication lines with the subcontractor were essential within this project. After completion of the project the railway crossings in the Northeast region have been given a uniform and secure appearance again.
