Anton Air Support recently welcomed a delegation from London Heathrow Airport for a live demonstration of the autonomous docking of a Passenger Boarding Bridge (PBB) to an aircraft door mock-up.

In collaboration with CLX Engineering, we presented this innovative, fully autonomous docking solution. This technology contributes to a safer, more accurate, faster and more efficient passenger boarding and disembarkation processes. Full Autonomous Docking process within 45 seconds. Waiting for an operator is not necessary anymore.

Autonomous docking represents an important step towards the digitalisation and automation of airport ground operations. The technology is designed to support airports in optimising turnaround processes and delivering a safer, faster and more efficient boarding and disembarkation experience.
