We create a complete structural design for architects, project developers, and construction companies based on their needs and requirements. We also provide structural advice on concrete, steel, wood, and/or masonry constructions. This could be for an extension, renovation, or a new construction such as a house, warehouse, apartment complex, office, barn, or storage facility.
Structural calculations
Based on the structural design we create, we then develop the corresponding structural calculations. This includes strength, stability, and foundation calculations for all load-bearing structural elements. Think of foundations, floors, walls, columns, beams, etc. All calculations are carried out according to the Eurocode (NEN-EN 1990 t/m 1997).
Autodesk Revit en Tekla Structures
For many years, we have been using advanced 3D design applications Autodesk Revit and Tekla Structures for all our drafting work. With these tools, we create a 3D model of the structures we design for new construction, renovation, or remodeling projects. The advantages of working with 3D include, among others:
- Structural design becomes more insightful
- At an early stage, we see if all construction elements, installations and connections fit well with and into each other
- From the 3D model we can very quickly realize 2D working drawings of views, sections and floor plans
- The probability of errors is reduced when changes are made
- For project partners, it is super convenient to have 3D drawing work for one BIM model
- We apply the BIM base ILS with any additional conditions and requirements from the customer
In addition to the above, we still work out constructions using Autodesk AutoCAD. We also visit you on site to measure the object digitally with a 3D scanner or Total Station.
