Het project is in twee fases uitgevoerd. Tijdens de eerste fase is de vloer in de stationshal vervangen, zijn nieuwe voordeuren gemaakt en is de voorgevel van de hal hersteld. In de Oostvleugel is de binnenzijde gerenoveerd. Ook zijn er renovatiewerkzaamheden aan het natuursteen verricht en zijn de roosterplafonds, verlichting en technische installaties (omroep, brandmelding, camera\u2019s) vervangen.<\/p>\n<p>De tweede fase bestond uit het terugplaatsen van de rijtuigkappen en de luifel aan de centrumzijde van het station. Er zijn monumentale kroonluchters opgehangen die de hal verlichten en de prachtig geornamenteerde plafonds, het verfijnde metselwerk en de monumentale kolommen is gerenoveerd.<\/p>\n<p>De hal en de Oostvleugel zijn tijdens de werkzaamheen gewoon toegankelijk gebleven voor reizigers. Daar waar gewerkt werd, werd de plek afgezet met
