Newly built farmhouse in Heemskerk

Hoogendijk Bouw started renovating the superstructure of a white farmhouse in Heemskerk at the end of March. Hoogendijk Bouw is also responsible for a newly built farmhouse in Heemskerk  in collaboration with Anton Constructiewerken.

The roof was installed at the beginning of July 2020, and the highest point has been reached. In January 2021, the house will be wind and watertight and the plasterers are busy finishing the Stolp. Hoogendijk Bouw is now working on the finishes on the outside, such as the Fraké façade cladding on the living shed and the brick slips on the entrance and the bell jar.

New construction monument ‘White farmhouse’

The ‘white farmhouse’ in Heemskerk is a municipal monument and is therefore being rebuilt in the same style. We use new materials, but the shape and characteristic colors (white facades and red tiles) are completely reduced.

Behind the new farmhouse there will be a new modern living barn with a glass corridor (walk-through) in between.

The farmhouse is traditionally built by means of masonry inner walls, prefab floors and a wooden roof construction. Outside it will have almost the same appearance as the original bell jar, only with maintenance-free aluminum frames.

Newly built farmhouse in Heemskerk

The living shed is constructed with a main supporting structure of steel. This construction was made by Anton Constructiewerken. Some of the steel will remain in plain sight. A steel main supporting construction was chosen here because of the large voids in the house itself. Due to the voids, it is not possible to construct the living shed according to the traditional construction method.

On the outside, the house will be fully equipped with an open wooden facade cladding that will continue from the facade over the roof. At the rear, one roof surface will be fully equipped with solar panels. Aluminum frames will also be used in the living shed and full aluminum curtain walls will be installed in the end walls.

The house has a complete basement. The basement was already completed in 2018 by a contracting company from Ursem. Hoogendijk Bouw will resume work from the ground floor.

Collaboration with other operating companies Anton Groep

Hoogendijk Bouw is part of the Anton Group. Various operating companies of the Anton Group have joined forces for the new construction of the farmhouse and residential barn. For example, Harder Constructie- & Adviesbureau drew and calculated the construction of the residential shed. Anton Constructiewerken has placed the steel construction of the living shed.
