On behalf of a French client, Anton Industrial Services has recently started installing a sand filling station. Anton Industrial Services provides the installation and welding of stainless steel piping, the installation of the electrical system and testing on site. The sand filling station is used to fill the trams. Once a tram brakes, it will release a little sand in front of the wheels. This ensures for a better grip of the wheels, resulting in a shorter braking distance.
