Commissioned by a regular customer from Velsen-Noord, Anton Constructiewerken has installed three protective walls for a Dutch steel supplier.

The three protective walls must ensure that people cannot walk under the tap, where 300-tonne pans with liquid steel can walk. The highest wall is no less than 17 meters high and is finished with brass mesh on top. This is to ensure that the radiation on the personnel is reduced. Two of the walls are covered on the underside with fireproof masonry. The third wall has three gigantic sliding doors and is covered on the inside with PROMATECT®.
A gigantic project in which the desired end result has been successfully achieved!
