During the replacement of the hot blast furnace 63 at oven 6, the foundation showed some signs of deterioration and wasn’t sufficiently strong. Tata Steel contacted Anton Construction & Betontechniek with the question if we could restore it. Of course! Together with De Jong Betonboringen, Spannberg and Loos Betonvloeren, Anton Construction & Concrete conducted the job in a couple of 24-hour services. After the foundation repairthe new floor could be poured.
