Commissioned by Heijmans Anton Concrete Engineering has placed Airside barriers at three different locations at Schiphol International Airport. These kind of barriers are meant to prevent an aircraft, from falling of the tunnel roof in an emergency situation. The work was mostly performed in the overnight hours in weekends, in order to minimize the disruption to air traffic.
