800 tons of steel for new parking garage and residential tower Amstelveen

The existing parking garage, which is attached to the old V&D complex in Amstelveen, no longer meets the constructive requirements regarding the installation of the new residential tower that comes on top of the garage. That is why the parking garage has been demolished and is being rebuilt. When the parking garage is ready, an eight-storey residential tower, designed for approximately 42 luxury apartments, will be built on top of the parking garage. In total, the sixteen-storey tower will be 62 meters high.

Anton Steel was asked to advise on the steel construction, to make the calculation from the design, provide the engineering, construction and transport, as well as to take care of the entire assembly on site. This is about 800 tons of steel in total. Start of assembly is planned for June 2018.
