For one of the largest steel producers in Europe, Anton Constructiewerken has replaced a staircase / platform construction.
The construction consists of 4 stairs and 4 landings. Due to the height, limited accessibility and positioning relative to various gas pipes, the construction was first assembled on the ground. Then it was lifted in its entirety by means of a mobile crane.
Short construction time
An additional advantage of this method was the short construction time. Due to a short construction time, the downtime of the adjacent conveyor belt could be kept to a minimum, which benefited production.
