Anton Constructiewerken renovated a dredging barge for the renovation of the Afsluitdijk.
There was some urgency to renovate the ship, because it was heeling (see second photo).
In consultation with the customer we have done the following:
- Identified what needed to be refurbished;
- cut holes in the deck to pump out the water;
- holes welded watertight again;
- all cracks and damage cleaned and welded closed by certified welders.
