The nearly 40-year-old structure will remain in use until a new bridge is developed and installed.<\/p>\n<p>To ensure continued safe and reliable operation, the current bridge is undergoing both cosmetic and technical upgrades.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><strong>Renovation & cosmetic upgrades:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Replacing roofing on the fixed tunnel sections<\/li>\n<li>Installing new anti-slip flooring in the tunnels<\/li>\n<li>Refurbishing and repainting the interior with a clean white finish<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Technical maintenance & updates:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Upgrading the control system<\/li>\n<li>Replacing outdated sensors and lighting<\/li>\n<li>Mechanical servicing, including hydraulic pump replacement, cylinder inspection, and oil refresh<\/li>\n<li><\/li>\n<li>Anton Air Support is responsible for both the renovation work and the ongoing maintenance of the bridge.
